I was honored to be chosen to share my academic research paper (exegesis) at this prestigious conference. The embedded program includes an abstract of my paper. I was also able to present a shortened presentation of my paper at the Andrews University Religion Forum on March 14, 2023.
This was my 1st academic conference and I look forward to others. The preparation and execution of this has given me valuable experience that will benefit me in sermon preparation.
I was inducted in Theta Alpha Kappa, the national Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology. Dedicated to recognising and nurturing excellence. Theta Alpha Kappa is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies, a Related Scholarly Organisation of the American Academy of Religion, and an Affiliate Organisation of the Society of Biblical Literature.
I was also the scholarship recipient for this year.
My academic results met the criteria of the Education Council of the Cayman Islands Scholarship Award, and I was awarded a Scholarship to complete the 3 remaining years of my Bachelor’s Program. In 2021 I transferred to Andrews University and will complete my studies in May 2023.
Upon my graduation from Prairie Adventist Christian High School I was awarded the Valedictorian, and as a result I obtained a “Tuition Free Scholarship” to Burman University to study for a Bachelor of Arts, Theology. I was also privileged to be asked to deliver the Address of the Teachers. Find out more about my scholarship.
At Burman, I was blessed to be on the Dean’s List 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 as well as received a scholarship for being the top Sophemore in an Arts Major.
